Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The room, located in a separate block, was small with no view and looked tired, not reflecting a luxury standard despite the high price. On the positive side, the service was excellent, with accommodating and friendly staff. However, the dining options were poor and overpriced. The location, though offering stunning views and a comfortable bed, was overall disappointing due to dated facilities and understaffing.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The location was great for accessing the town and promenade, very close to the beach, bus stop, pier, and oceanarium. However, the service was mainly unhelpful and rude, and the rooms, though reasonably clean, lacked hot water and were smaller than expected with a tiny bed positioned near noisy areas.
The hotel has some ups and downs. The rooms, after some initial issues, ended up being dated for the price and offered a sea view at an extra cost. However, there were issues with invoicing for car parking. The location is wonderful, albeit a bit tricky with parking. The dining experience had its highs and lows, with some expensive options and good breakfast service. When it comes to facilities, there were some minor issues to be aware of.
Staying at the sea view cottage was a delight with clean and comfortable rooms and a tasty breakfast offering both continental and cooked options. The location provided amazing views of the sea, although parking could be a bit challenging for guests. The service was top-notch with helpful and welcoming staff, making the overall experience pleasant.
I found the hotel to be in a perfect location, just by the ocean on a cliff with stunning views. The rooms were a bit disappointing as they smelled of the Thai restaurant downstairs, and the noise from the fans outside was constant. However, the service was exceptional, with incredibly warm and accommodating staff. The dining experience was above average, with a good range of items available on request. The facilities were modern and well-kept, providing a comfortable stay overall.
The hotel presents a mixed experience with congested and slightly chaotic rooms when busy, accompanied by maintenance issues like noisy showers and a burning smell from the A/C unit. On the positive side, the allocated rooms offer a sea view, and they promptly addressed the smoke smell by providing a diffuser.
